An independent pub and grille is opening in St. Petersburg, co-owner Shani Duvall told FFBW. Her and her husband Timothy (Tiki Tim) Eskridge are planning to bring their concept to the area as soon as possible.

Duvall and Tiki Tim are originally from Delaware, and their menu will reflect the influences of Philadelphia and the eastern shore. Expect Philly steaks, crab cakes, Italian subs, porchetta, wings, fresh cut fries and much more.

The full-service restaurant will be about 2,200 square feet between the inside and out, and have between 110-120 seats. An outdoor space in the back will be fashioned with picnic tables and a stage for performances. An outdoor service bar is also in the works.

Duvall, who has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, said that she's been dreaming of opening Tiki Tim's for over 13 years.

Currently, they are renovating their space at: 923 72nd St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710. This was the home of the now-shuttered Pesky Pelican.

They hope to open in April. Find them on Facebook.
