This week we have 25 new restaurants, cafes, delicatessens, and food truck to report on. Read on to see what's opening in South and Central Florida.
The third location of the South-Florida-born brand Sriracha House is opening in South Miami later this year, owner Emilio Benzadon told FFBW. Sriracha House has two other locations, one in South Beach, and another in the Shoma Bazaar Food Hall in Doral.
The brand serves a variety of Asian dishes, predominately those with noodles as their base. Benzadon reported that they are in construction right now and will likely open in November or the beginning of December.
Franchisee group Toss It Up, Inc is planning to open 10-12 new locations of Jimmy John's in the next few years, owner Ryan McGuire told FFBW. The first location to open will be in Miami Springs at: 69 Hook Square, Miami Springs, FL 33166.
McGuire estimates that this will open toward the end of the year, potentially early next year, as they will soon begin construction. The rest of the 10-12 locations don't have available addresses yet, but McGuire said that they are looking into opening 4-5 in Kendall, a couple more in Dade County, and several in Broward County.

Florida Food and Beverage Weekly specializes in referring the right industry vendors and service providers to the newest restaurateurs throughout the state.
Four new locations of the Caribbean style fast food chain Juici Patties are on the way to South Florida, construction manager and general contractor Michael Brown confirmed with FFBW. The first two locations are expected to open in Hollywood and Lauderhill in December or January.
The Hollywood unit will be at: 5830 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, FL 33021.
The Lauderhill unit's address is: 5419 N University Dr, Lauderhill, FL 33351.
Additionally, two units will be coming to Dade County, in Miami Gardens and Miramar, Brown confirmed. They're targeting a February or March opening.

One Love Island Grill
A new Island-style restaurant is opening in Sunrise, owner Guenaelle Derezil told FFBW. One Love Island Grill is preparing to open as a sit-down and carry-out restaurant.
Derezil said that an opening date isn't available right now, as they are still working on readying the space and need to go through the inspections process. However, keep an eye out at: 8763 NW 57th St, Tamarac, FL 33321, where they will open.
Coal Fire Restaurant and Catering Food Truck
A new Caribbean and latin food truck is opening soon in the Fort Lauderdale area, co-owner Kevin Small told FFBW. Currently, Small is adding the finishing touches to his truck. Once they are complete, he will be able to open quickly, as they already have their licensing in order, he said.
Coal Fire is estimated to open in about two weeks, Small reported. Check their website.
Pane e Vino
A new full-service Italian restaurant is in the works, by way of Eric Cavallaro, longtime co-owner of Pepe e Sale, another upscale Italian restaurant.
Pepe e Sale doesn't have a firm opening date yet, Cavallaro said. However, if they can iron out a few last minute details, they hope to open in 2-4 weeks.

ST. LUCIE COUNTY
Shark Shack Sweets
The third location of Shark Shack Sweets is opening in Port St. Lucie, co-owner Thomas Allen told FFBW. Shark Shack Sweets has two other locations, one in Stuart, and the original in Palm City.
Allen reported that they are hoping to open between November 1-15. They expect to offer 50 different flavors of ice cream, Italian ices, soft serve and more. They also serve key lime pie sourced directly from the Florida Keys, shakes, floats, and all manner of other dessert. Their original location in Palm City boasts 70 different flavors of frozen treats.
Regal Pizza & Restaurant
A new family owned pizzeria and restaurant is opening in Okeechobee, Kevin Diaz told FFBW. Owned by the Diaz family, Kevin reported that their pizzeria is steeped in a history of restaurant ownership that began in New York.
Santos Diaz, Kevin's father, began working as an employee of Regal Deli in New York when he was 17. He and the owner became close, and when the owner retired, he left the deli to Santos, who kept it alive and operating. The deli is still in the family to this day. The family's history, shaped by running this New York deli, has influenced them to use the Regal name for their new pizzeria in Okeechobee.
Kevin reported that they will likely open in early November. Expect New York style pizza, sandwiches, subs, wings, and more. Kevin said that they will be making sandwiches with high-quality New York sourced meats, reflective of Regal Deli.
Lobster Rolls No 1
A new location of the local chain Lobster Rolls No 1 is planned for Cape Coral, operator Stefan Raab told FFBW. The business' building is currently being built out Raab said, and they will likely open in December.
Lobster Rolls is known for serving lobster sourced from the gulf of Maine. They offer traditional chilled lobster rolls, warm, Connecticut-style rolls, lobster mac and cheese, shrimp, salmon, crab rolls, and much more. Visit their website to see their menu.

A new location of the Connecticut-based brand PokeMoto is headed into Cape Coral, franchisee Kevin Glazier told FFBW. This is Glazier's second location in Lee County. His first poke restaurant opened at: 16240 Summerlin Rd, Fort Myers, FL 33908 in July.
Now, Glazier is waiting for permits to come through for another unit in Cape Coral. It will appear at: 1830 NE Pine Island Rd, Cape Coral, FL 33909. An opening date isn't clear for this location, as Glazier is in the permitting, pre-construction phase.
A local Sanford eatery, The Yardery, is expanding to a second location in Mt. Dora, CEO Suzanne Bonham told FFBW. The Yardery is a concept based on outdoor fun and play, featuring all-outdoor covered dining, yard games, and breezy cocktails.
The Mt. Dora location is early on in the process of development. Bonham reported that they will break ground for construction very soon. A target opening date falls on April / May 2024.
This new Yardery will follow the same ethos of: "Eat, Drink, Play in the yard." However, this location will also feature a rooftop bar, where guests will likely have a nice view of the nearby marina. An new Italian restaurant is in the works for Sarasota, owners Shatara Giles and Luigi Di Iorio reported to FFBW. Casa Mi will be a full-service Italian restaurant that aims to provide a personal dining experience in an intimate space, modeled after many European restaurants.
Chef Luigi and Shatara have been in the culinary world for many years, but this is the first restaurant in which they will be the owners. Currently, they are amidst their buildout, and they hope to open in late November. They will have a total of 40 seats, 27 will be inside and the rest will be on patio space.
Foxtail Coffee Co.
First-time Foxtail Coffee Co. franchisee Greg Roberts told FFBW that he is opening a location of the cafe at the University Town Center in Sarasota this year. As of now, this location of Foxtail is estimated to open between mid-November and December.
They will serve the customary array of coffees, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and they will feature a counter of Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream within the shop.

A new sushi and ramen restaurant is coming to the area by way of owner Sarawut Tajawandee. Sushi Ramen doesn't have an opening date yet, Tajawandee told FFBW. Currently, they are in construction.

Shin Jung Korean BBQ
The second location of Shin Jung Korean BBQ is planning to open on West Colonial in the former space Seoulicious occupied. Owner Michael Lee told FFBW that an opening date is not available as of now. They are still readying the building, according to Lee's description of their progress. Putting a firm opening date out right now isn't possible, Lee said.
This location will be similar to the original, which is on East Colonial. However, they will have a U shaped bar at which guests will be able to enjoy a drink and eat at.
Yallah Hot Chicken
Owner Hitham Hiyajneh reported that Yallah Hot Chicken will soon roll out a food truck. The Yallah brand recently opened their brick and mortar unit on Orange Blossom Trail.
Hiyajneh said that they are likely to open in the next couple of months. Demand for catering and attendance at different events has led Yallah to pursue their plans for a mobile unit.
Owner Ria Marcano told FFBW that she is very close to opening her new Trinidadian food truck Doubles Queen. The concept is centered around the Trinidadian street food called "doubles."
These consist of two flatbreads with curried chick peas between them. What really sets them apart are the vast amounts of condiments one can add: chutneys, sauces, and all manner of condiments are meant to be piled on to enhance the flavor.
Marcano plans to do a grand opening in one or two weeks, which will include a band playing steel drums and rhythm while diners enjoy their doubles. Find the Facebook page here.
The online-based catering company Sabrina's Delicacies is planning to move into a new store front in the coming months, owner Sabrina Lopez confirmed with FFBW. Lopez's stunning charcuterie board work has previously been featured on the Disney Food Blog.
Lopez said that the store front will allow her to welcome guests who want to sit in and enjoy a board, along with beer, wine, water, and sodas. Additionally, walk-in guests can grab a to-go board. Lopez will continue fulfilling catering orders as well. The goal is to continually expand the food offerings, but at the beginning, Lopez will stick with charcuterie.

Boba Plus Mochidonut
A new boba tea and mochi donut shop is opening in Largo, co-owner Truyen Nguyen told FFBW. Boba Plus Mochidonut is working toward a potential November opening, Nguyen told FFBW.
The shop will offer mochi donuts, light Asian foods, boba tea, coffee, and other drinks, Nguyen said. As of now, they are still developing a web presence.
World of Beer
A new location of World of Beer is set to open in Odessa soon, Public Relations Coordinator Laurel Avery told FFBW. The new restaurant is corporate owned, and they are planning to have the doors open in early 2024.
In general, World of Beer is continuing to expand across the country. Their website indicates that there are 43 locations standing as of now. Find this restaurant at: 13430 Pine Gap Spur, Odessa, FL 33556.
Devil Dogs Street Food and Catering
A new hot dog stand is in the works for the New Port Richey area, owner Manuel Rodriguez told FFBW. Devil Dogs Street Food and Catering is hoping to open in the next month or so. Manuel said that their opening is dependent on when they can get the licensing process finished up.
West Fort King Street Building
Restaurateur Brad Harper is preparing to open several concepts in the downtown Ocala building at 2 West Fort King Street, Harper reported to FFBW. The first restaurant slated to open will be Mellow Mushroom, which is known for stone-baked pizzas and eclectic decorations.
Harper said that Mellow Mushroom is looking to open as soon as December of this year. It will appear on the first floor. This restaurant, along with three others slated to open in the building, is owned by Harper and a couple of other partners. Swamp Dawgs Restaurant Management Group, LLC (of which Harper is the CEO) will handle the administration of the building's restaurants, but will not be an owner of them, Harper reported.
The next restaurant, Mooyah Burgers, Fries, & Shakes, will share the first floor with Mellow Mushroom, and is expected to open in the spring of 2024.
On the second floor will be a game room intended for kids to play. This will allow the West Fort King Street building to offer fun and entertainment for parents and children alike.
Sharing the second floor will be Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar. Harper plans on the second floor to open in the fall of 2024.
Last, but not least, a rooftop bar tentatively called The Rooftop of Ocala, is planned to open as well. Harper expects this to open on a similar timeline as the game room and Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar.
And if you thought Harper didn't have enough on his plate, he has two locations of Zaxby's preparing to break ground in Zephyrhills and Land O Lakes.
