Welcome back to this week's round up! We spoke with restaurant and food truck owners from St. Augustine to St. Lucie. Find previous write ups on our home page.

ST. LUCIE COUNTY
American Smoke BBQ Company
An old-school barbecue food trailer is opening in Fort Pierce. Owner Adam Long told FFBW that he will be opening for business very soon.
According to long, they will serve brisket, fresh ground burgers, smoked chicken thighs, bacon potato salad, two types of coleslaw, beans, fresh bread, deviled eggs and more. The entire menu is homemade, Long reported.
The trailer is going through inspections right now, and once they pass he will open very quickly. Long will be using an attached 500 gallon offset smoker to prepare his BBQ.
The Ohio-based pizzeria brand Romeo's Pizza will be opening soon in Naples and Estero, co-franchisee Jennifer Page told FFBW. Romeo's Pizza is known for it's fresh made dough and delicious menu items, ranging from pizza, calzones, wings, subs and much more.
Page reported that the Naples unit will open on the Friday after Thanksgiving. The Estero location is slated for mid-December. Page also said that they are discussing a deal with Romeo's to become the area representatives for brand. This would mean greatly expanding their presence in the state.

Floridita Cuban Cafe
Two new locations are in the works for Floridita Cuban Cafe, owner Yanet Casanova told FFBW. Floridita is planning to open the first new restaurant in Naples at: 318 9th St N, Naples, FL 34102. Casanova said that they are waiting on a final bit of permitting to come through. They could open in as soon as a week.
The next will come to 2075 Pine Ridge Rd, Naples, FL 34109, the former home of Industry Pizza & Slice Shop. Casanova estimates that they'll open this unit on December 15th.
The brand is known for serving a range of Cuban dishes. Follow their Facebook page for updates.
Arts & Central
Father and son team Dan Jr. and Daniel Henson Sr. are opening in a new concept in Sarasota soon, Dan Henson told FFBW. Arts & Central will serve elevated American cuisine with Asian and Mediterranean influences as well.
Henson described their wine list as upscale yet approachable. Expect to enjoy cocktails, mocktails, local craft beers and events where local distilleries and brewers showcase their craft.
Arts & Central has been a lifelong dream for Daniel Henson Sr, and they are expected open in early January. Find them at: 611 Central Ave, Sarasota, FL 34236.
Inner Peas of Mind
A new cafe is in the works for the Tampa area, owner Maria Leal told FFBW. Inner Pease of Mind will be serving healthy Latin food.
Details at this time are slim, as Leal reported that they are probably three months away from opening. They expect to serve beer and wine with their healthy food.
Puerto Rico Cafe
A new Puerto Rican concept is in the works for the Brandon area, co-owner Emy Rivera told FFBW. Puerto Rico Cafe has been a catering operation for years, and now they are going brick and mortar.
Rivera shared that they will be expanding the menu, bringing breakfast foods and other traditional Puerto Rican fare. Having moved from Puerto Rico in 2007, Rivera said that her food will be held to her high native standard, and they will serve fresh, never frozen ingredients.

Eat Sleep Tacos
Owner Carly McPhee reported to FFBW that she is moving her taco stand into a food truck soon. Eat Sleep Tacos has been doing business as a stand at farmer's markets and other events for two years.
They serve tacos, quesadillas, and burritos. McPhee estimates that they will open in about two weeks. To keep up with their brand on Instagram.
Terracota Bakery & Cafe
A new cafe and bakery is opening in Saint Cloud soon, co-owner Jennifer Gallegos told FFBW. Terracota Bakery & Cafe will serve breakfast all day, coffees, pastries and more.
Gallegos said that she and her husband, Ramon, are from Colombia, and their cafe will prepare their food based on their home country's influence. They expect to open soon. Currently, the cafe is going through the inspections process.

Lazy Moon Pizza
Owner Timothy Brown shared that Lazy Moon Pizza is opening a third location soon. The third pizzeria will open in Maitland, Brown said. He estimates that they will have the doors open in late January or early February.
Look out for the new location at: 441 S Orlando Ave, Maitland, FL 32751. Brown reported that they will have more outdoor seating. He will offer the same great menu here as well.

SideQuest eSports Arena
An exciting new esports arena is coming to Orlando soon, co-owner Darrell Harbin told FFBW. SideQuest will be opening in The Block, a growing collections of nightlife and dining venues at 46 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32801.
Harbin shared with FFBW that more details regarding the project, particularly their food and beverage offerings, will emerge in the coming weeks.
The whole project is slated to open sometime in 2024. A more detailed article is forthcoming.
Daddy's Chicken Shack
A location of the Daddy's Chicken Shack brand is opening in Lake Mary soon, franchise Ed Zausch told FFBW. Zausch estimates that this restaurant will open in December.
The brand is known for serving delicious, pressure cooked chicken. Some of their menu items to watch out for are: Nashville-style hot chicken sandwich, chicken and waffles, fried chicken sliders and much more. Check their menu out here.
Zausch has the rights to open 30 locations from Daytona to Tampa. Once this location is open, he will asses what his next move will be. This is Zausch's first foray into restaurant ownership.

ST. JOHN'S COUNTY
Cookiebird Ice Cream Bar
A new family-owned ice cream bar and dessert shop is coming to St. Augustine soon, a representative for the company reported. They told FFBW that Cookiebird has been in the works for about 5 years, and that they plan to open in February.
The Cookiebird Ice Cream Bar space is being built out at: 138 San Marco Ave, St. Augustine, FL 32084. Exact details about the menu aren't available. We can expect soft serve, cones, shakes, and cookies.
