A fresh Chick-Fil-A prototype is opening in Leesburg, operator Eric Johnson shared with FFBW in a phone interview. Johnson, who has operated a Chick-Fil-A near Universal Studios for well over a decade, is bringing Leesburg a new restaurant in the next few months.

Johnson reported that this restaurant's design will reflect a new prototype from Chick-Fil-A. The store will sit on a 2 acre lot and will be 6,000 square feet. The drive through will feature two lanes that wrap around the perimeter of the restaurant. The outer right lane will be for mobile order drive-thru fulfillment. This is meant to be an expedited lane for mobile orderers to grab their food quickly. The left lane will function as a traditional drive-thru.

Inside, guests will have the option to order at the counter, mobile order from their tables, or stop in to grab a mobile order to go. The dining room, Johnson said, is separated from the noise and hubbub of the kitchen, allowing guests to have peaceful uninterrupted meals, meetings or computer-work time – utilizing the business's free WIFI.

An exact opening date isn't available yet. Johnson shared that they'd like to open in late April or early May.
