A new fast-casual gyro spot is coming to the area soon, according to co-owner Tia Holness. Gyromania is originally from California, and they are expanding in South Florida. Holness told FFBW that they tentatively plan to open in November.

More units may be on the way, Holness hinted. More details or a timeline are unavailable as of now.

Coffee Hogs

A new brand is on the rise in South Florida, according to owner Manny Castro. Coffee Hogs is a YouTube channel focused on motorcycle travel, restaurants, bars, and cafes. Castro told FFBW that he is scouting for the best location to open a cafe with a motorcycle shop next door so that he can create a staple stop for all the bikers passing through the area.

Castro is a ways from opening the concept, however, because he plans to develop his YouTube channel more, begin roasting coffee, and expanding the brand before opening brick and mortar.

Yallah Hot Chicken

Owner Hitham Hiyajneh told FFBW that he is planning to open his Yallah Hot Chicken concept in Orlando next month. The restaurant will serve Nashville style hot chicken with a bit of a mediterranean twist, Hiyajneh said. He expects the location to be open by the 15th of August. The Yallah Foods LLC brand is based out of Pennsylvania.

Hiyajneh is also planning to open in Oviedo. A location is not known at this time, as they are still scouting for a building, but Hiyajneh is hoping to open in about six months.

Find the new restaurant in the Florida Mall at: 8001 S Orange Blossom Trl Unit 1530, Orlando, FL 32809.

Sips & Dips

A North Carolina-born brand is preparing for expansion in Central Florida, co-owner Kylee Pickering told FFBW. Sips & Dips will be coming to Florida by way of The Four Foodies Group, LLC, which includes Amie and Sean Liston, and Kylee and Jeffrey Pickering.

Pickering told FFBW that in her family's home state of Utah, her husband franchised several restaurants; so entering a partnership with the Liston's to expand the Sips & Dips concept was a natural next step when they moved to the area.

Sips & Dips is a neighborhood soda and snack shop that serves speciality soda drinks, mocktails, and snacks. They are self branded as a "A fresh, on-trend, quick serve 'drinkery and snackery...'" Check the website for more.

Vazquez said that the other brick and mortar unit is planned for South Lakeland. Opening dates are unavailable at this time.
